Creating an account
Everything in The Chat Agent starts with a personal account. This page covers signing up, verifying your email, logging in, resetting your password, and the plans available to you.
Sign up
Go to thechatagent.co.uk and click Sign up in the top navigation bar (or on the homepage). Fill in the form with:
- Your email address
- A password (at least 8 characters; we recommend a passphrase or a password manager)
Click Create account to submit. You will be redirected to a confirmation page and receive a verification email shortly.
Verify your email
Open the email from The Chat Agent and click the Verify email address link. The link is valid for 24 hours. Once you click it your account is fully activated and you are signed in automatically.
Did not receive the email?
Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, click Resend verification email on the confirmation page. If you still have trouble, contact support from the Contact page.Log in
Once your account is verified, click Log in in the navigation bar, enter your email and password, and click Sign in. You will be taken directly to your chat dashboard.
Reset your password
On the login page, click Forgot password? beneath the sign-in button. Enter your email address and click Send reset link. You will receive an email with a secure link to choose a new password. The link expires after one hour.
Plans
The Chat Agent is freemium — you can start for free and upgrade whenever you need more capacity or additional features.

You can always upgrade later
Start on the Free plan and upgrade at any time from Settings → Plan inside the app. Your data and conversations carry over seamlessly.Next steps
