Sharing conversations

The Chat Agent lets you share any conversation as a read-only link. Recipients can read the full message history at a glance — useful for sharing research, a useful AI exchange, or a reference transcript with a colleague — without needing an account or access to your workspace.

Anyone with the link can view the conversation

A share link is not access-controlled beyond possession of the URL. Anyone who obtains the link can read the full conversation history. Do not share conversations that contain sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential business data you would not want publicly visible.

Creating a share link

To share a conversation, open it and click the Share button in the conversation toolbar (the icon shows an outward arrow or chain-link symbol). The share dialog opens and generates a unique link for that conversation.

Click Copy link to copy the URL to your clipboard, then paste it wherever you need — an email, a document, a chat message, or a web page.

What recipients see

When someone opens a share link they see a read-only view of the conversation. Specifically:

  • The full message history, including any tool-use traces, is visible.
  • There is no message input — recipients cannot continue the conversation, reply, or send messages.
  • Your other conversations, workspace settings, and account details are not visible or accessible.
  • Your provider API keys and provider configuration are never exposed through a share link. The shared view contains only conversation content.
  • Recipients do not need to sign in to view the shared conversation.
The read-only shared view. Message history is fully visible but the input area is absent — recipients cannot send messages.

Copying the link again

After a share link has been created, you can retrieve it at any time by opening the share dialog again. The same URL is shown — clicking Copy link copies it again without generating a new link or resetting access.

Revoking a share link

To stop access to a shared conversation, open the share dialog and click Revoke link (or Stop sharing). This immediately invalidates the URL — anyone who visits the old link will see an access-denied message rather than the conversation.

Revoking is permanent: the old URL cannot be re-enabled. If you want to share the conversation again after revoking, open the share dialog and create a new link, which will have a different URL.
